Early years (until 1973)

It all started in the late 1960s - two cousins together with two friends.

While finishing different schoolbands, plans were made for a more serious group.
In the start the band was called Child, but was renamed in 1970 to Red Fox.

On the picture f.l. is Trond Gossmann, Kjell O. Manum, Guttorm Forbord,
a journalist from a local paper and Leif Roar Øyås.

In 1971 a third cousin entered the drums. That was Jomar Reitan,
and this was the band during the next three years.................
